Couture Fashion Week, one of the most prestigious modeling events of the year, will be taking place soon and casting directors and talent scouts are on the lookout for 120 fresh faces to walk the runway in the latest incredible fashions from the top designers in the world. Casting calls for this fantastic event will be held soon and interested models can submit themselves today for a spot in what could be a career making show. Couture Fashion Week
Dates: September 5, 6, 7 and 8, 2013 (Thursday through Sunday)
Location: New York City

Attractive female runway models
- Height: 5’10″ and taller in bare feet
- Dress size 2-4
- Age 16-25
Must be healthy and in good physical shape with clear, unblemished skin and straight white teeth
No tan lines, obvious scars or excessive piercings or tattoos
You will be asked to walk so we will ask to see your legs, arms and upper back
If you are invited to the in-person casting you will be required to bring with you:
2 comp cards or 2 copies of a photo with your contact information (cell and e-mail) and
your current stats:
- Your name
- Height (in bare feet)
- Bust (specify A, B, C, etc.)
- Waist
- Hips
- Dress size
- Shoe size
- Hair color

One pair of high heels and shorts or bathing suit

If you are chosen for one of the coveted spots on the show, then there are a couple of things that you need to think about.  You will be filmed almost around the clock and you will have little to no privacy, so you must be comfortable with that.  Also, you will be responsible for making your own arrangements to be away from your family and job. You will be provided with transportation to and from your home town.

Other than that, the rest is on you to impress the judges.  So put your best foot forward and good luck and maybe this could be your shot at the big time.

The theme of the show will be grace, tranquility, and grace, and will featuring 5 new designers.  We will need roughly 15 models for the show, several of which will be used for shoots above and beyond the actual event.  The show will be in Sydney, and all models are expected to be available for both days of the event, which is tentatively scheduled for   January 19-20.

Models that are selected will be needed for a promotional shoot that will be used in several advertising campaigns to bring publicity to the event.  These shoots will take place sometime before the event, so models need to be available around the holidays.  This will be a great opportunity to become the face of a new line being launched, especially if you are new to the industry.

Model ages will be chosen based on designs.  You also must be above 168 cm tall and between sizes 6-10.  For all work days, you will be required to work for a minimum of 3 hours.  Shoot days will pay $150 per hour and event days will pay $200 dollars an hour for all models.

This casting cycle is in search of male and female models for the first time.  Last season was focused on college students, but the doors are open again this season and wider than ever.  There are only a few restrictions on who they are looking for.  You must be a US citizen, between 18-27 years old, and  at least 5’7″ if you are female and 5’10″ if you are a male.  Obviously you should be in excellent physical condition as well.

Shooting will take place in February and March of 2013, so contestants will need to be able to make that work with their work and family schedules.  Also, while shooting is going on, you must be comfortable being filmed for almost the entire day.

Casting will take place in various cities throughout the United States, so there is a chance that you will hopefully have an opportunity to try out in a city near you. America’s Next Top Model airs on the CW and allows relatively undiscovered models compete against one another for the grand prize of a lucrative modeling contract. Host Tyra Banks puts the contestants through a variety of challenges and narrows the group down to the eventual winner.

This cycle will not be confined to college students, but will be open to all walks of life. Also, another new twist in the casting is that they will be accepting male as well as female models to compete.

Filming will take place in February and March of 2013, so if you think you have what it takes to be on the show, you must also be available for shooting during those months. Also, keep in mind that while shooting is taking place, you while be filmed nearly round the clock. You must be comfortable with having little to no privacy in the house.
