A new Human Rights project is now casting Colombian children for the upcoming shoot. Casting directors are looking to fill the roles of “Tomas or Ana” a Colombian 10 year old child, curios of the current situation of the land he/she just left. He/She explores the history that defined the Country by traveling on a timeline. Rehearsal will take place on Saturday, August 20th in New York City. The production will shoot September 3rd and 4th in New York City and Long Island.
The company is a nonprofit organization working on a production to support human rights. For the rehearsal and production dates, they will cover transportation of the child and his/her legal guardian, food and accommodations. They will also offer bonus and perks.
For the auditions please bring all your energy, white t-shirt and jeans, a set of extra clothing of your own choice and all the Spanish you can speak. If you have any previous work you want to submit for review, have all videos emailed before August 12. To submit for an audition, parents should email a cover letter, headshot, video if available to colombianacademics@gmail.com. Auditions are being on August 13th and 14th from 9am to 4pm. This is a non-paid shoot that will be filming in New York City. Submissions must be in by August 11th.
