If you haven’t heard, we will soon be seeing a new Children of the Corn movie! The upcoming film called “Children of the Corn: Runaway” is a sequel to the popular horror film, and is now casting kids to take part in a photo shoot that will be used in the movie! , Runaway tells the story of a young woman named Ruth, who finds herself pregnant after escaping a murderous child cult in a small Midwestern town. Ruth struggles to spare her son the horrors of her childhood while trying to outrun her past. The movie stars Marci Miller, Jake Ryan Scott, Lynn Andrews and Mary Kathryn Judkins. It is directed by John Gulager.
Casting directors are seeking kids to shoot tomorrow, Thursday, June 30th in the afternoon. Filming will take place in either Okarche or Jones, Oklahoma. The scenes are for additional photography for the movie that shot in Oklahoma earlier this year. The call time will be in the afternoon and should last until sunset. The pay rate for each child is $50.00 There is no compensation for travel so all kids should be local to the area. The casting team is looking for kids and teens who are ages 12 to 17 years old. They need simple, Amish looking kids. They aren’t looking for kids with crazy hair, but longer or shaggier and more of a 1790’s style hair is preferred. They are also seeking a redheaded male who is 17 to 18 years old. They are looking for a tall and lanky teen to match the 1970’s character from the Stephen King book.
