Can you pull off the 1980’s look? Casting directors are looking for men and women with the 80’s vibe to play young, hip 1986 restaurant patrons for the AMC television series, “Halt and Catch Fire.” It is shooting in Atlanta, Georgia.
The show takes place in 1985, and “more than a year has passed since Joe MacMillan (Lee Pace) set fire to a truck full of Cardiff Giant PCs, the last in a long string of destructive acts that burned the people that made the machine possible: Gordon Clark (Scoot McNairy), Donna Clark (Kerry Bishé), Cameron Howe (Mackenzie Davis) and John Bosworth (Toby Huss). The Giant is about to go the way of the dinosaur, like any number of personal computers to enter the market in the wake of IBM. The lesson is harsh but clear: in history, only the truly disruptive ideas are destined to matter,” According to AMC.
The casting team is looking for young, hip, 1986 restaurant patrons who are between the ages of 25 and 40 years old. You must have hair to pass for 1986. Mustaches and sideburns are great for guys and ladies should have natural hair color with hair shoulder length to bobs. The scene will be shooting on Thursday, May 26th. They are also looking for experienced waitstaff and bartenders.
