Would your family be perfect for a TV commercial? The Home Depot is looking for you! Parents and kids are now being hired to appear in a new spot for the superstore. A 2018 audition notice for kids and adults is searching for real families. For this project an African American family is needed. Ideally the team is looking for couples ages 30 to 45 who have children. Only homeowners qualify for the casting call. The story is about a DIY or Design influencer helping a family redo their outdoor space so that the family can celebrate something with their loved ones, friends and neighbors.
They want “real” families. Please note kids ages etc. You will need to come in for an audition/interview and bring pictures of your space on Monday April 2nd. All performers must be US citizens and be willing to undergo a background check if chosen. Adults will be paid $1000.00 for two days plus $250.00 for still photos. Children will be paid $500.00 for two days plus $250.00 for photos. Filming is taking place in Atlanta, Georgia. Check out the commercial casting call information below.

Here are the details of what we need:
African American Family: 30-45 years old. Ideally the couple would have children.
Scenario:
Looking for homeowners only. Apartment dwellers unfortunately do not qualify.
Family will receive up to $5,000 in products that they use for the shoot! Our family needs to have an outdoor space that we can use for the shoot. It could be a deck, patio, terrace, backyard or front yard. Ideally a backyard. Here are SOME examples of a celebration:

OPTION 1
Tues. 4/17 – Pre pro at the family’s house
Wed. 4/18 – Location visit and possible B roll shoot with the family
Thurs. 4/19 – Shoot – 12 hour shoot day
OPTION 2
Fri. 4/20 – Pre pro at the family’s house
Mon. 4/23 – Location visit and possible B roll shoot with the family
Tues. 4/24 – Shoot – 12 hour shoot day

Pay Rates:
Adults $1000 for 2 days plus $250 for stills. One year use.
Kids under 10 $500 for 2 days plus $250 for stills. One year use.
Payment will cover creation of unlimited edits/versions/lifts.
Family will also receive up to $5,000 in Home Depot products (furniture, lighting, decor etc.)
Friends of family will also receive compensation for their time. Amount TBD.
