Casting directors for the upcoming film “Hostiles” is looking for boys and girls who are between the ages of 6 and 10 years old for a lead role of a Native American Child. According to Variety, The movie “tells the story of a legendary Army captain, who agrees to escort a dying Cheyenne war chief and his family back to tribal lands.
Making the harrowing and perilous journey from an isolated Army outpost in New Mexico to the grasslands of Montana, the former rivals encounter a young widow whose family was murdered on the plains. Together, they must join forces to overcome the punishing landscape and hostile Comanche tribes that they encounter along the way”.
Casting directors are looking for Native American or Native American looking kids who are outgoing and adventurous. Auditions for the movie are being held in Santa Fe, New Mexico on Saturday, May 14th and Sunday, May 15th from 10:00am to 5:00pm at the Warehouse 21 – Media Lab at 1614 Paseo de Peralta, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87501. Kids will have their auditions filmed and will have brief interviews with the casting team. Children local to the area who aren’t able to attend the auditions are able to still submit by having parents send an email to auditions@rhcasitng.com with the child’s current photo, any experience, age and all contact information.
