Oscar nominated actor James Franco who starred in a wide range of movies like Pineapple Express, 127 Hours, Oz the Great and Powerful, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Milk and Spider-Man is now starring in a new series for HBO. The television show, “The Deuce” is from the creator of The Wire, David Simon and follows the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early 1970s through the mid-1980s, exploring the rough-and-tumble world that existed there until the rise of HIV, the violence of the cocaine epidemic and the renewed real estate market all ended the bawdy turbulence.
Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for men and women who are in their 20’s and 30’s for a nude still photo shoot in the style of 1971 for the HBO dramatic series that is shooting in New York City. The photos will be Polaroids or stills like magazine covers etc, that will be used in the show for props or set dressing purposes. This is not SAG-AFTRA covered background work, but they are accepting both SAG-AFTRA and non-union talent. Anyone submitting should feel comfortable appearing fully nude in the photos.
Men’s hair should be appropriate for 1971: at least 1.5 inches in length. No buzz cuts, fades, dreadlocks or modern styles accepted. Women should have hair mid-neck or longer. No modern cuts or unnatural coloring. No tattoos or distinct scars or markings anywhere on your body. The casting directors are seeking natural looking body types (not surgically enhanced or muscular physiques). Natural body hair is great! The pay rate for full nudity photos are $900.00 and the pay rate for topless photos are $500.00.
