Real kids are needed for an upcoming fun commercial spot. The shoot will be taking place in Jackson, Mississippi. The commercial is for the great organization, Children’s Hospital of Mississippi. This is a union SAG Commercial, however, casting directors are accepting submissions from both union and non-union talent.
Roles
[CHILD 1] (with Kite): Male. Looks to be 7-9 years. Open to all ethnic backgrounds.
[CHILD 2] (with Bike): Female. Looks to be 8-10 years. Preference is Asian or Asian mix; however, we open to all ethnicities. She must be able to ride a bike with confidence.
[CHILD 3] (Swimming): Female. Looks to be 6-8 years. Caucasian. She MUST be able to swim and comfortable in the water. There will be a shot of her underwater “talking with bubbles coming out of her mouth” as she looks to the camera!
[CHILD 4] (Football): Male. Looks to be 10-12 years. African American is preference but please do not limit.
In person auditions will not be held, auditions should be sent in via self-taped video auditions. You will need to film your child and send casting director Matthew Morgan a small video if requested to do so. There are currently no callbacks scheduled, however there may be a possible Skype with the director and casting director. The commercial will be scheduled to shoot sometime between May 10th and May 12th. Each child will only be needed for one day.
If you would like to submit your child for the shoot, please email the casting team asap at morgancastingkids@gmail.com. You must submit right away as the deadline is Saturday, April 16th at 1:00pm. In the submission you should include the child’s name, parent’s name and contact number, the child’s age and date of birth, the current city in which you live, your representation if you have any, two photos (one head and shoulders showing the child’s face and a full length photo that shows your child’s build and which category that best fits your child. i.e. Child 1, Child 2, etc.
For the shoot the kids are either PP (speaking on camera) or SOC with V.O. Still to be determined. Most likely PP on camera with just a few lines and should be fun and easy. They are seeking kids who can work local hire to Jackson, MS please. It’s a nice spot and will be a fun experience and good for one’s reel as well!
