Everyone loves social media, now you get the chance to be apart of an upcoming social media video campaign! Burton Casting is currently doing a nationwide casting search for a documentary-style social media video campaign. The campaign is for those who are experiencing something interesting for the first time as they come into adulthood. This is a paid project. They are conducting a nationwide search, no matter where you are located, they want to hear from you! If you are not right for this but know someone who is, they ask you please help spread the word and pass it along.
Do you have a great “adulting” story? Burton Casting is looking for someone who is doing something interesting for the first time as they come into adulthood. They want to hear REAL stories that highlight a great moment in the life of a young adult. Ideally their candidates will be in their 20s and experiencing something for the first time that is monumental. Here are some samples stories that could work, but they are open to hearing your own unique story, so if you have one send it! Some examples are: A young entrepreneur getting their first paycheck from their start-up that just became profitable. An adventurous millennial quitting their first corporate job to start working on a farm. A single parent starting their first day back in school after leaving college to raise their child. A young adult starting up their own business that becomes profitable through hard work/grit. Someone who founds a volunteer organization fulfilling a lifelong dream to start a non-profit that helps refugees. A young adult moves from a small town to New York City alone to try to nab their first job after college. This isn’t for actors, they want real life adulting stories from non-actors. This isn’t for gaining a ride into the entertainment business, it is about sharing real life experiences you are going through.
If you fit the above description, please submit ASAP to burtoncasting@gmail.com. Send them the following info ASAP (We need to present this to the client no later than Monday, April 4th. A clear photo and a quick introduction of yourself, age and where you live and briefly tell them your story. If you are right for this, we will need you to submit a short self taped video (3 minutes or less and can be done on your phone) by noon on Monday April 4th. Video instructions and exact pay rate will be disclosed at that time. Feel free to share and please help spread this to anyone you know who is right for it.
