A new ABC Pilot TV show is now looking for background extras.
About the TV Series
The show is called, “The Death Of Eva Sofia Valdez” and stars Christian Ochoa. Deadline reports the show focuses on an immigrant named Eva Sofia Valdez, who rises from rags to riches in Miami. Eva is a celebrated Miami entrepreneur who also champions immigrant rights. But Eva has her deep dark secrets that could ultimately destroy her and her family. Seems Eva made some dark sacrifices while she was struggling to reach her goals and still has a vendetta against an ex lover who betrayed her. Casting directors are looking for actors in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for a Miami Party and Fiesta scene that is filming for the television show. (yes, they are recreating Miami in South Carolina). Be sure to read all of the casting information carefully before submitting.
Casting Call Information
The shoot dates will be Tuesday, March 22nd, Wednesday, March 23rd and Thursday, March 24th. These will all be night shoots. When you submit, be sure to let the casting director know if you are available for all of the shoot days or just some of them. You MUST at least be available for the Tuesday, March 22nd shoot. When applying for the show, list the days you are available in the subject line of your email. The call times could be anywhere from 4pm to 10pm on the shoot dates. Those that submit, must be able and willing to work as a local hire. They are looking for men and women of all ethnicities (but especially Latin American or Latin American looking), who are ages 18 and up. This is for a big Miami/fiesta party scene.
How to Apply for the Show
The casting director has worked out a fixed low rate with several local hotels for any extras who are coming into town who are going to stay multiple days. Upon booking, the casting director will give you the information. You must be available to work a full filming day/night. The pay is a guaranteed $64.00 for up to 8 hours and time and a half for anything over 8 hours.
