There is a new casting call for mature models who have some age related hearing loss. Donna Grossman casting is looking for men and women who are over the age of 55 years old who wear hearing aids as a result of age related hearing loss not loss of hearing from an illness or environment. It’s very important that the cause of the hearing be age related due to legal reasons it cannot be due to an environmental result such as hearing loud sounds at work for years.
This is for a live street event that will take place for four hours on May 3rd in New York City. The pay rate for the event is $750.00. The selected model must be able to authentically speak about their own experiences regarding the hearing loss and how wearing hearing aids has helped their life. Prior to Booking, production will need to have a quick conversation on Monday about your experiences and the loss.
There will be no in-person auditions, this will be an email casting. You will need to submit photos of you wearing your hearing aids along with a story of how you were diagnosed and how your life has changed since you started using your hearing aids. This is for a live PR/ Question and Answer event. They need someone who has a story to tell and that is able to tell it.
