Before you go out looking for an agent, you might want to do a little research before you really get going. First of all you need to know you should never have to pay ahead of time for a reputable agent. You may have to pay for things like head shots and online postings, but that should be it. A reputable agent will normally work on a commission basis but will only collect after the modeling job is complete. You will also need to know that at least at first you will probably not make a great deal of money until you establish a clientele .On the positive note you will many new people of all kinds who you can later use to make contacts in virtually any aspect of the entertainment industry.
