Oscar nominated filmmaker Richard Linklater (Dazed and Confused, Bad News Bears, Before Sunrise) has is on the creative roll of his career with the tremendous sucess of his latest critical and box office hit film Boyhood and now his next blockbuster is ready to roll in front of cameras. That’a What I’m Talking About will be shooting soon and the call is out for aspiring local actors to submit themselves for a number of roles. This could be your chance to land a part in one of the biggest comedies of the year.
That’s What I’m Talking About is the latest feature comedy written and directed by Linklater and this one is very close to his heart. Based on his own experiences, TWITA will follow the lives of a group of college baseball players in Texas in the 1980’s. This hilarious new production will feature
a tremendous cast that so far includes Wyatt Russell (22 Jump Street, Escape from L.A., Cowboys & Aliens), Zoey Deutch (Beautiful Creatures, Good Kids, NCIS), Glen Powell (Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, Fast Food Nation, CSI: Miami), Blake Jenner (Glee, Melissa & Joey, Love at First Site) and Tyler Hoechlin (The Road to Perdition, Hall Pass, The Sticks). More parts are still available and submissions are being accepted today.
