A new project for the Academy of United States Veterans is now casting US Veterans of all ages, ethnicities and types in Austin. Are you a Veteran? The Academy of United States Veterans needs you for an upcoming video portrait that will be filming in Austin, Texas. The non-profit video portrait will shoot on October 15th. Veterans of all ages, races and genders are welcomed to represent the American military community and its diverse culture. Whether you are a veteran who also is a model and actor or have never worked in the industry, casting directors want you for the upcoming shoot.

Veterans from young to old, bankers to construction workers who are deeply engrained into our community are needed. Current military are welcome.
If selected, men and women will be paid $100.00 per person and will require 1 to 2 hours of film time. Your daily work attire is required to be worn during filming. Producers are seeing all types of veterans for this project. They are looking for young, old, white, black tattooed, LGBT, bankers, executives, construction workers – any and all roles that show Veterans are deeply engrained into our community!
Male and female vets who are local to Austin, available for the shoot and would like to be considered should email ivyc@ausvets.org no later than October 14th. All emails should include your name, age, phone number, city of residence, current occupation, military branch previously served or currently serving in and a high resolution headshot. Please note, submitting an application does not guarantee work. You must be a veteran to apply, non veteran actors will not be considered. The subject line of your email should be “Zodiac Studios Veteran Casting Call”.
