One of the hottest TV titles on the very popular Hulu platform is back for another exciting season and soon you could be a part of the show that has millions talking. East Los High is set to begin rolling on a new batch of episodes and a number of roles are up for grabs. Auditions will be taking place soon and submissions are being accepted now and will be popping up throughout the shooting schedule.
East Los High is Hulu’s incredibly addictive answer to network series like Pretty Little Liars, and 90210. This soap opera style show follows a group of high school students in East Los Angeles as they face a number of hot-button issues as drug abuse, teen pregnancy and sexuality along with the all of the drama, romance and
laughs that make up the teen experience. This scintillating drama features a cast of outstanding up and comers that includes such talents as Danielle Vega (The Last Ship), Alicia Sixtos (The Fosters), Tracy Perez (An Ornament of Faith), Jorge Diaz (Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones) and Gabriel Chavarria (Teacher of the Year). The series was created by the brilliant duo of Carlos Portugal (Meet the Browns) and Kathleen Bedoya.
Casting calls for male and female models and actors are being held now for a variety of roles. The job rates are $100 per 8 hours for SAG members and 72 per 8 for non-union talent.
