Casting directors are looking for talent for a national non-profit commercial. This is a paid shoot. The casting team are hiring kids for a set of funny commercial web spots for a national non-profit. These spots are advocating for childcare affordability in the U.S. They need several talented, diverse, and funny kid actors to star in these spots. The public service announcement is filming in Austin, Texas.
They are looking for a girl ages 7 to 11 years old who is African American or Latina. This is a principal speaking role with a lot of dialogue. The role calls for a girl who is comfortable and dynamic on camera. Girls with big personalities are a plus. They are also looking for a boy between the ages of 3 and 6 years old of any ethnicity. This is a featured non-speaking role. Must have lots of facial expression and be able to take direction. This role will require a lot of patience on set so they need a kid who is calm and well behaved. The final role they are looking to hire is for an African American, Latino or Asian boy between the ages of 7 and 11 years old for a lead speaking role with a lot of dialogue, so the boy for this role must be comfortable with a big personality and dynamic on camera.
The auditions will take place on April 14th from 10:00am to 7:00pm. This is a paid shoot and meals, snacks and beverages will also be provided. The shoot will be one full day in the last week of April. Selected kids will need to be available to shoot on a week day. There will be sides provided for the kids to rehearse and memorize at the audition.
