Cycle 20 for America’s Next Top Model is going to be holding auditions in the Detroit area and they are looking for contestants to be a part of the new season in 2013. This year will be like no other because for the first time the show will be both make and female models.
There are some basic restrictions this season, but for the most part almost anyone can audition. You must be over 18 and at least 5’7″ if you are girl and 5’11” if you are a guy.

If you are chosen for one of the coveted spots on the show, then there are a couple of things that you need to think about. You will be filmed almost around the clock and you will have little to no privacy, so you must be comfortable with that. Also, you will be responsible for making your own arrangements to be away from your family and job. You will be provided with transportation to and from your home town.
Other than that, the rest is on you to impress the judges. So put your best foot forward and good luck and maybe this could be your shot at the big time.

I attended Americas Next Top Model casting call earlier this year with my daughter. After standing in the rain for 1 hour, we were told that she was not tall enough. My daughter stands 5’3′”, 110 lean shapely swimsuit body. Very smart pretty, good morals and values. The way she was singled out measured and turned away broke our hearts. This was a terrible day for us. We will never forget the face of the woman who tuned us away so disrespectfully. My daughter has now graduated Valadictorian from High School. She will be attending a Private college in the fall. I would love to hear from Tyra Banks. We had much respect for your show untill this event.

I was so happy cause I knew that my life gonna change for better and happier, but Life in US was so tough and hard for like a year cause I had to start from 0 level to make new and happy life for myself, the big difference between the cultures that I lived in…, and the language difference too, and I was trying so hard to make new first I start going to school to learn Eng, and trying to find a job and so on. I’ve been living in MI for 5 years, My life now is fine better than living in Iraq, But it’s not the life that I want to myself cause I’m really poor, and working and trying hard in any and all good ways to better my life.
Why do I want to be a model?
